Crop on Sunday 10 December 2017

The Isabella Crop will be held as usual this sunday at 10am until 4pm. at the Isabella Centre in Blyth, Northumberland

There is tea/coffe available all day.

The meeting will also include our AGM

As usuall all equipment and resources will be available for use

Isabella Crop Sunday 15 October

The crop is on Sunday 15 October from 10am to 4pm at the Isabella Centre in Blyth.

There will be the usual non profit shop with a basic range of papers and glues, sitcky tapes etc as well as very small selection of embellishments.

There will also be a fairly extensive range of dies with die cutting machines, stamps, inks, stencils and other equipment free to use at the meeting.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are available all day just bring something for lunch.

Crop on Sunday 17 September

The next crop will be held on Sunday 17 September at the Isabella Centre in Blyth.

The meeting will be from 10am to 4pm.  The usual equipment and stash items will be available as well as a supply of tea and coffee all you have to do is bring along some lunch.

12 Hour Crop on Saturday 29 July

As usual for our 12 Hour Crop there will be a small pack with some projects and below is a list of the materials needed for each project and please remember the usual supplies will be at the crop as well as the non profit shop of basic cardstock and stuff for sticking.



Project 1
2 x Portrait Photos 3”x4” & 2”x3”
2 sheets A5 water colour paper (or patterned cardstock) and 1 sheet vintage music/book page
2 x water colour paint (class uses red & blue but whatever fits your colour scheme) and 1 medium brush
1 x permanent thin nib pen
1 mask
1 length fine jewellery wire
1 x set alphabet (for title)
2 x lengths lace, 3 x brads, 5 x buttons and 8 x beads
The following can be swapped to fit your layout
Mini bingo card, small tags, clock face stamp, jewel swirl, crystals flower centre, chipboard frame, die cut mini label, (prima) flowers, small stamp, label sticker, 1 sheet background card stock.

Project 2
2 x landscape photos – 1 5”x7” and 3.5”x5”
1 sheet 12x12 cardstock plus 2 half sheets of co-ordinating/contrasting sheets of plain/patterned paper
Glitter, epoxy shapes, assorted rub ons and brads
Alphabet for title plus assorted chipboard letters
White thread, needle, clear seed beads and beading needle as well as ricrac, scrap acetate, black ink pad

Project 3
Landscape photo 5”x3.5” with small white border
1 sheet 12x12 card stock plus 2 or 3 pieces patterned paper and small piece white card for journaling
Chipboard letters, paint (co-ordinating/contrasting) and paint brush.
Swirl or flourish stamps (1 or 2 at crop) and black ink pad
Glossy accents, dymo junior (optional), tiny alphabet stickers, co-ordinating buttons and brads
Black embroidery floss and black journaling pen

Project 4
1 x landscape photo 6”x4”
2 sheets white 12x12 cardstock
Good amount left over ribbon approx. 1” to 2” long in many colours
2” strip cardstock (to co-ordinate with photo) plus 4”x6” neutral patterned paper
Sewing machine (optional) or needle and white thread
Alphabet chipboard or thickers for title
Journalling spot stamp (there is 1 or 2 at crop)
Stamps - a word (layout used “recorded”) and (“Grate”) or anything repeatable, small alphabet set and ink (to co-ordinate with photo)
Pen, stapler, stamping block
Optional embroidered canvas tabs or cream calico/canvas/tweill.  Brads or buttons and scenic toute date label or make your own.

Technique 1
Portrait Photo
2 sheets 12x12 cardstock – at least 1 should be a paler colour.
Small pieces of co-ordinating/contrasting plain/patterned paper for strips and larger pieces for rosettes
Buttons and twine.
Alphabet Chipboard/thickers for title
Small alphabet stickers, stamps or fine pen for journaling
Stencils (hexagon and chicken wire stencils were used)
White paint, paint brush and black ink pad

Technique 2
Portrait Photo
1 sheet 12x12 plain cardstock
2 sheets patterned co-ordinating/contrasting paper
Selection of patterned and plain paper/cardstock
Spritz bottle (for water) or glimmer mist
Scissors (plain or decorative)
Buttons, brads and crystals
Flower punches
Chalk inks, glitter and glue
Thread and seed beads

Always remember you don't have to use everything in the list, items on the list can be substituted and you can add things that are not on the list.

The Isabella Crop circle will meet as usual 10am to 4pm on Sunday 2nd July at the Isabella Centre in Blyth.

The usual equipment and materials will be available.

This is the last crop before our 12 Hour Crop at the end of July

Crop - Sunday June 4

The Isabella Crop will be meeting on Sunday 4 June at the Isabella Centre in Blyth from 10am to 4pm.

The meeting is not just for those who scrapbook but all crafts.  We currently have people coming who do card making, patchwork, quilting, spinning, knitting, crochet, lace making - the list could go on.

If you wish to do anything involving paper crafting then we have available die cutting machines, embossing wallets, a large selection of dies, stencils, inks, stamps, guillotines, punches, etc

We also have a small non profit shop selling basic paper crafting items ie 12 by 12 card, ribbons, double sided tape, glue dots and other bits and bobs.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are supplied and there is access to a microwave

Bring a packed lunch if you are staying all day

Fees which cover the cost of the hall are £8 for the whole day or £4 for half day.

Dont forget 12 Hour crop at the end of July.

Please bring a packed lunch if you are staying all day.  Refreshments will be provided.

A small non profit making shop selling the basics will be available.

Also available is a selection of equipment for all to use

The crop will be meeting as usual on Sunday 5 March from 10am to 4pm at the Blyth Isabella Centre.

Tea and coffee is available as well as die cutting machines, dies, stamps, inks etc and there is also a not for profit shop with the basic stuff in ie double sided tape, ltd supply of 12 x 12 plain and patterned papers as well as some embellishments
