12 Hour Crop Saturday 19 September

The snowflake - made out of 6 pieces of 6x6 double sided paper.

With a few carefully placed cuts, folds and staples this beautiful snowflake is created.

12 Hour Crop on 19 September

Yes it has finally come its our 12 hour crop and this year there will be the chance to have a go a some other crafts as well as scrapbooking

Crafts on Offer

Paper crafts including Scrapbooking and Cardmaking.  There will also be a chance at making a 3D snowflake (you will need 1 & 1/2 sheets of 12x12 double sided patterned paper)

There will be a sewing machine available and for those who would like a go there will be instructions to make a a simple patchwork bag (you will need 1mt of lining fabric and 2 & 1/2 mts patterned fabric less if you are using plain.

There will be the chance to have a try at Durham Quilting (please bring some fabric and a needle along)

Spinning - there will be materials and equipment to allow you to have a go at carding and spinning (using a drop spinner) your own thread.

There will be a lace maker at the crop with a practice pillow set up for people to have a go at bobbin lace making as well as materals and notes for making one of the forms of needle lace.

Please bring a pcked lunch and for the evening meal we are having a shared meal so please bring along a contribution to add to the buffet.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available during the day

There will be a small non profit shop selling the basics ie papers, adhesives, ribbon etc,

All od the groups equipment will be available - the silhouette, die cutting machines and a large selection of dies and embossing folders, stamps and inks, stencils heat gun and embossing powders.

The cost of the event will be the hall hire plus small running cost divided by the number of people attending
