12 Hour Crop Announcement

IMPORTANT NOTICE: due to unforseen circumstances the 12 Hour Crop will now be held on Saturday 13 October 2012

The Isabella Crop will once again be holding a 12 hour crop.

This will be held on Saturday 6 October 2012 at the Isabella Centre, Blyth, Northumberland from 9am to 9pm.

Chris has very kindly agreed to run 2 classes during the day so they will certainly be projects to look forward to.

The cost of the day will be £45 which includes
- your own dedicated workspace
- 1 class in the morning and a second class after lunch
- an endless supply of tea,  coffee and biscuits if you can bear to be parted from Chris’s fantastic projects long enough to partake.
- access to all equipment and materials required for the 2 classes
- additional material pack which should make a number of layouts
- a small supply of basic stash for purchase
- lots of fun and games, prize winning competitions
- and the opportunity to spend 12 hours of guilt free scrapbooking with like minded people

A £10 deposit is required as soon as possible to secure your booking with the balance being due by 31 August 2012.

And for those that attend any of the Isabella crops between now and the 12 hour crop there will be a £1 discount for each full crop attended which gives a potential saving of £4 on the 12 Hour crop price.

If you wish to attend the 12 hour crop then please email a request to Isabellacrop@hotmail.co.uk for a booking form and hand in the completed form with the £10 deposit at our next crop.

Isabella Crop on Sunday 27 May

The next crop is 27 May and as promised we are going to have a Jubilee theme for the day.  The layout by Chris follows a red, white and blue theme.

You will need

1 sheet 12 X 12 card in either red, white or blue.  There will be some card available on the day to purchase if you don’t already have these colours.
You need scraps of card in the contrasting colours to mat and for the bunting.
Also a half a sheet of co-ordinating patterned paper, some ribbon and some string or fibres.
Chris has also used a variety of rubber stamps to add patterns to the bunting, this is optional.

Remember dress code is red, white and blue for the day and there will be a prize for the best headwear (doesn’t have to be a hat but should be in keeping with the theme).  We also have a special raffle prize (Dorothy may try to buy all the tickets for this one so you had better be quick) and we might just manage a challenge with a prize too.

As it’s a celebration please bring some food to share.  If you can post on here what you will be bringing to avoid everyone bringing the same thing.  Chris says she will be bringing a friendship cake to share as her contribution to the party.

There will also be an announcement about the 12 hour crop so you might want to bring a few extra pennies with you or your cheque book.
