Isabella Crop on Sunday 21 July

 Once again we have 2 projects for this weeks crop - both of which involve sewing.
 Project 1 is a 12 x12 scrapbook layout
 Project 2 is a patchwork flower

 

For the scrapbook layout you need

1 piece of 12 x 12 cardstock

1 sheet of 12 x 12 patterned paper plus 

scraps of co-ordinating paper. 

 

The layout features some sewing so if you can then bring along some thread which will  co-ordinate with the papers you will be using. 

  

For the second project we will be making beautiful patchwork flowers. 

To make them you will need light cotton patchwork material so if you have some please bring it along but if you have not got anything suitable then there will be some material available at the crop.

 If you are bringing your own fabric then you will also need to bring co-ordinating thread to match your materia.

You will also need to bring a sewing needle and scissors may also be useful.

Isabella Crop Circle Sunday 23 June

Once again we have 2 fantastic projects for the crop.  So why not come along and have a go at one of them or perhaps be reckless and do both of them!

Meeting starts at 10am until 4pm.  Tea and coffee is available although you will need to bring lunch if you are staying all day.  There is a small non profit making "shop" with the basics as well as a large supply of equipment including dies for use with the bigshot or cuttlebug as well as a silhouette for use during the meeting..

For this beautiful card you will require

2 pieces of A4 cardstock the same colour,

1 piece of A4 patterned paper,

Either some ready made flowers or some paper to make flowers,

gems or pearl embellishments (optional.

For the scrapbook layout the materials required are

1 sheet 12 x 12 card and scraps of co-ordinating patterned paper,

A photo approx 6"x4"

A selection of embellishments and ink for edges.

 

Isabella Crop latest news

After much discussion it has been decided that there will be a 12 Hour Crop in 2013.

The date for your diaries is Saturday 12 October.  The crop will start at 9am with a welcoming cup of tea and then lots of scrap booking, competitions as well as plenty of creativity and no doubt a huge amount of fun and laughter.

Sunday May 19th Isabella Crop

Our meetings are from 10am to 4pm on a sunday at the Isabella Centre in Blyth, Northumberland.

If you cannot manage all day then come for just the morning or the afternoon.  See you at the next meeting.

For the card you will need:
water colour pens or pencils if you have them
also any rubber stamps if you wish to do a different design.

For the scrapbook layout you will need:
2 pieces of 12 X 12 cardstock,
co-ordinating papers 1 at least 8" X 8",
embellishments,
between 1 and 3 photos or 1 photo plus memorabillia.

scraps of coordinating patterned paper (I used 4 sheets of 6X6)

Scraps of cardstock for title and photo mount

Scraps of ribbon and other embellishments

1 6X4 photo

Ink if desired

The project for the next crop is a simple layout.



Materials required for this weeks project are

1 12x12 card stock
2 12x12 cardstock/paper (either 1 plain and 1 patterned or both patterned)

1 x 4" by 6" portrait photo
2 x 3" by 2" landscape photos

Embellishments of your choice

 This weeks project is a 6x6 mini book








Materials required

at least 3 sheets 12 X 12 card stock
(more sheets if more pages are required)

2 sheets 12x12 paper to cover the outside of the book


either 6 X 6 sheets or 12 x12 sheets cut down for the inside of the book

and finally

Ribbon and other embellishments to decorate.
