1st Crop of the New Year

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and that Santa gave you all you wished for!

Although it is hard to believe that a new year is starting Happy New Year to you all.

As we go into 2015 our crop will be on Sunday 11 January when no doubt we will be catching up on Christmas layouts.

12 Hour Crop Saturday 8 November

Yes this saturday is the 12 Hour Crop.  If you are coming along then you will need to remember the following

The crop is from 9am to 9pm in the Isabella Centre, Blyth

The cost payable on the day is £10

There is no project so you will need to bring enough layouts & projects to keep you busy for the 12 Hours.

Tea, Coffee & biscuits will be available during the day.

You will need a packed lunch for mid day (there is a microwave available if required).

We usually send out for a take out for our evening meal so you will need some money for that.

As usual there will be access to all of the crops equipment (die cutting machines, silhouette, dies, stamps, inks, punches, stencils etc) as well as the "no profit shop" which has a small supply of basic items (papers, tapes, foam pads, dots & glue etc) which can be purchased.

The aim of the day is to complete some layouts or projects whilst having plenty of fun and games at the same time.

Crop on Sunday 31 August

There is no project for the next crop but we are hoping that everyone will bring their scrapbook so that they can be viewed by the rest of those at the crop.  It is always nice to see what other scrappers have produced and you never know perhaps we can get ideas and inspirations from other layouts and if anyone sees a particular technique they are interested in then possibly a demonstration at a future crop.

So hopefully we will see you at the crop staggering in with arms full of stash and scrapbooks.

As always there will be the usual tools including die cutting machines, a large selection of dies, inks, stamps, embossing powders and a selection of layout templates from past projects.

Finally - tea, coffee and biscuits are available during the meeting.

The 12 Hour Crop on Saturday 12th July

The 12 Hour crop is finally here.

9am to 9pm on Saturday the 12 July at the Isabella Centre, Blyth.

We have one kit for the day which will provide enough stash for the crop project plus plenty left over for other projects.

You will need to bring any other layouts that you want to complete.

In between and during the crafty stuff there will be games, competitions, food and drink.

You will need to bring a packed lunch but we will be ordering takeout for the evening meal.

Tea & Coffee will be available throughout the day.

There is a small non-profit making shop selling a small selection of plain & patterned papers, glues, tapes, ribbons etc

There will also be available the usual die cutting machines & dies, a silhouette machine with a selection of templates, inks & stamps, heat gun & embossing powders, punches,paper trimmers etc

So come along to a day packed with fun, laughter and a lot of crafting

Crop on Sunday 8 June

As you can see from the picture the project this crop will will be using elements which have been dry embossed.

It looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Unfortunately the Crop planned for May 18 has been cancelled due to a number of absences that weekend.

The next meeting will be on Sunday 8 June.

IMPORTANT NOTICE OF CHANGES TO CROP DATES

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to change the date of our 12 Hour Crop as well as some of our normal crop meeting dates.

We have slotted in a crop on Sunday 18 May (project is a layout to include dry embossed elements)
We have CANCELLED the 12 Hour Crop on Saturday 31 May
We have slotted in a new crop on Sunday 8 June
We have CANCELLED the crop on Sunday 29 June
The New date for the 12 Hour Crop is Saturday 12 July.

Crop on Sunday 6 April 2014

The layout for this weeks crop
is from Pauline and is a great
layout with an overlay. 

Materials & Equipment that you
will need to complete for this
layout 

12x12 card or paper to match photo
12x12 for base
1x photo any size
A Journaling pen
Matching or contrasting Card 
for matting and layering. 

Pauline has said that she will have some overlays ready for 
the crop and if there is anyone who wants a specific colour
then just email the crop at the email address in the contact
details.

Crop Sunday 9 Febraury

The crop will be meeting as normal on Sunday 10am to 4pm.

There are 2 layouts for the crop. 

 The first is about using large patterns. 

Materials used
1 sheet of 12x12 cardstock for your base
1 sheet 12x12 card/paper to contrast the base sheet
1 sheet of card/paper - large patterned
2 photos

The second project is about using momentos

Materials used
1 xheet 12x12 card stock for your base
2 sheets 12x12 contrasting card/paper
Photos and related momentos






You may also wish to use embellishments, inks etc

Also available is the die cutting machines, large selection of dies, the silhouette as well as a selection of other tools and materials such as inks and stamps etc.

Crop on Sunday 12 January

The crop on sunday will be an unfinished business crop. 

So bring along those layouts and projects that you have not quite got round to completing and spend the day finishing them off.
