The 12 Hour Crop - the results
All who attended said it was the best yet and whilst previous years had been very busy this year had been a bit more relaxed but there had still been plenty to keep us occupied
So who knows perhaps we will organise another one same time next year - keep watching the blog.

Isabella Crop Sunday 11 November
The 12 Hour crop was a day of fun for all those that attended and for those of us that took part in the classes they were thoroughly enjoyable.
As a number of people did not manage to finish their projects at the 12 hour crop then the crop on the 11th November will be an unfinished projects day. The projects do not have to be from the 12 hour crop as we all have at least one layout tucked away that we haven't quite finished. So collect together all those projects that need that little bit of journalling or perhaps a few embellishments or a bit of bling and bring them along and with a little luck the inspiration will flow and by the end of the crop you will have a collection of finished layouts..

August Isabella Crop
The date of the crop to be held in August has been moved and will now be held on 12 August

Isabella Crop on Sunday 22 July
We do not hve a project this week but we have a sketch (from scrapbooketc) for the group to have a go at and at the end of the crop we will be able to see how one sketch can produce so many different layouts as we each add our own take on it.
But that is not all - there is a challenge connected to this layout:
the title should be a song title and if you want to go the whole hog the journalling should be the words of a song.
Have fun.

Isabella Crop on Sunday 27 May
The next crop is 27 May and as promised we are going to have
a Jubilee theme for the day. The layout
by Chris follows a red, white and blue theme.
You will need
1 sheet 12 X 12 card in either red, white or blue. There will be some card available on the day
to purchase if you don’t already have these colours.
You need scraps of card in the contrasting
colours to mat and for the bunting.
Also a half
a sheet of co-ordinating patterned paper, some ribbon and some string or
fibres.
Chris has also used a variety of
rubber stamps to add patterns to the bunting, this is optional.
Remember dress code is red, white and blue for the day and
there will be a prize for the best headwear (doesn’t have to be a hat but
should be in keeping with the theme). We
also have a special raffle prize (Dorothy may try to buy all the tickets for
this one so you had better be quick) and we might just manage a challenge with
a prize too.
As it’s a celebration please bring some food to share. If you can post on here what you will be
bringing to avoid everyone bringing the same thing. Chris says she will be bringing a friendship
cake to share as her contribution to the party.
There will also be an announcement about the 12 hour crop so
you might want to bring a few extra pennies with you or your cheque book.
